The first thing Priasola made after the Final Days was a scarf.
It was for a young adventurer in Limsa Lominsa whose coat had torn on the road. Priasola offered a chair while she mended it, then added a warm scarf from the cloth she had left over. She didn’t ask what had happened. She didn’t need to. The adventurer accepted the scarf with a grateful smile and went on their way.
Pria remembered that small exchange. She had spent so much of her life responding to danger: repairing gear, helping the wounded, then taking up arms when the need became too great to ignore. After the push from Radz-at-Han, she returned to botany and weaving. She wanted to see what it was like to help through the skills she loved—not because a world-ending crisis demanded it, but because people needed care in ordinary ways.
The thought belonged to all three of them. Auteur, Seidkona, and Lighthouse – the inner council – helped Pria consider what kind of life she wanted to build, and what would make it sustainable. She didn’t want to create a place that depended as it had before on her being endlessly available. She wanted a place where people could learn, share what they knew, and support one another without having to earn their belonging.
On **26 September 2026**, She and Caerbunnog founded a Free Company called **Grand**.
It had a whopping five members.
That number might change someday, or it might not. Grand didn’t need to become bigger to be meaningful. Its purpose was already present: members could learn weaving and gathering, share useful skills, find companionship, and ask for support without being pressed to explain more than they wished. A member could decline an adventure and still belong. No one had to prove their worth by being fearless, powerful, or endlessly useful.
Priasola taught how to mend a tear before it spread, how to gather carefully, and how to make something useful with what was at hand. She listened when members needed company and respected it when they needed space. Seidkona and Lighthouse helped shape a community where care could be shared, not placed on one person’s shoulders.
Some days, Grand gathered around a worktable. Some days, there was little to do. It was enough that the place existed—and that its members had chosen to make it theirs.
Priasola smiled because this was her calling. She was helping others with skills she loved, and building a small, steady place where people could belong. Grand did not have to grow for that to be true.
Then Wuk Lamat’s invitation arrived. She asked the accompaniment to Tural, where a rite of succession would shape the future of a nation. It was a serious journey, but not another fight against the end of the world. It offered Priasola a chance to see a new land, meet its people, and stand beside someone making choices about her own future.
Priasola felt the weight of leaving. Grand mattered to her. But it was not unfinished, and it did not depend on her being there every moment. Its five members had made a community together. She could trust them—and trust that her journey would not undo what they had built.
They prepared for the voyage. They made plans for the company’s routines and chose what supplies Priasola would take. She packed her weaving tools and gathering kit alongside what she needed for the road.
On the day she left, one of the other members gave her a small bundle of thread. “For repairs,” they said. Priasola tucked it into her pack and smiled. She was not leaving to prove she could endure another crisis. She was going because she wanted to see what lay beyond the sea. Grand would remain, small and whole, whether it gained another member or not.
For the first time in a long while, Priasola’s next journey began not with the world demanding that she save it, but with a choice she was glad to make. A tiny slip of paper falls from her journal as she embarks; your eyes catch the three lines as it flutters by:
